Connor Creates's video: felt like I needed to share this - pt 2 shorts forgiveness

I’ve learned that forgiveness isn’t forgetting. Its not saying what happened to you was okay, it's choosing to be set free from any anger or bitterness that has really only been effecting you. And there’s so much joy on the other side of forgiveness. There’s freedom. I know there’s some real hurt out there. And its hard to move on from betrayal or abandonment or abuse or whatever events happened to you that were beyond your control. But holding onto that bitterness is holding you back from the life you’re meant to live It’s definitely been a process. But Through my faith and God’s strength and grace and also some therapy I’ve been able to slowly work through it all. I just think, there’s not enough people talking about forgiveness. Whether its a hurt that’s big or small. Hopefully this can be an encouragement to take that step 🤗
