JAYA SHREE KRISHNA, Greetings to all Dear friends, here is a video that will give a detailed picture of how u can prepare a delicacy from aloe vera which will keep u disease free if u consume this at least once a week. Before I give u the complete recipe, I would like to be candid with u about how much time it really takes to make this. An hour of preparation and half an hour for cooking with all the ingredients that I have stated. U can save some time by preparing rotis along side while stirring the gravy to its completion. And trust me, it has taken me nearly 9 hrs ( of hair pulling, getting frustrated, losing my personal routine, falling into a domino effect trap, did not walk/do yoga/meditate/did not cook something new/ did not learn something new /did not have a good family time / did not garden/ was not able to play with kids or our cows/ landed up with stomach cramps, eye pain, head ache ☹ ☹ ☹ ☹ ☹ ), 2 hrs on day one, 3 hrs on day two and 4 hrs on day three to complete this video editing, abhigya has helped me finish this work and it was annoying, I have put on 6 kgs in all due to the editing work of previous food as medicine tamil song video plus this aloe gravy video. ( my weight is not bcoz of all the food that was made for tamil song , I did not eat much that day at all ) So lessons learnt, no more editing or inserting music/voice/text, it does take a toll on our personal lives too. It is very harmful to the people who edit as well as to the people who watch, here is how, by now u know what we have gone through to get this done, may be there are expert editors who may complete the same job in just 2 hrs, we had to figure out how to do and alongside suffer the teething problems…. Still it is surely not our cup of tea ☹, so I give up on this, further, the reason why this is harmful to the watchers is that, they probably assume that someone in that channel is living a fairy tale and look at their own lives as sheer crap and slowly they keep moving from one video to another , to another, to another and enter a loop of the never ending saga, and become sleepless, feeling hopeless about themselves. So I request people who watch our video or any other video to pls not get addicted but only get informed and take action in ur own lives to make ur own lives better, chalk out a plan and in that give only 20 to 30 minutes for watching youtube, only for the sake of extracting information out, beyond that, ur own health, ur own life is important , hope the candid description of my personal editing experience has been of some help to u all 😊 One small tip, instead of watching my video repeatedly, pls copy & paste the recipe part onto a word document, save it and take a printout if possible, shut down ur phone & then head to ur kitchen and start cooking peacefully. There is no obligation for u to share my video to others, if this video has to reach someone, God will make them click on it automatically, so my humble request to all of u is to pls take care of ur health and ur family’s well-being first 😊 Here is the recipe: Ingredients: ( for 4 people ) 12 -15 huge & thick aloe leaves 2 tablespoons cold pressed coconut oil 5-6 sprigs of curry leaves 3- 4 dried red cillies 5 – 6 medium sized non gmo, non hybrid, native tomatoes ( diced ) Spices & herbs for seasoning: 1 tspn Mustard 2 tspns Jeera 1 tspn ajwain 2 tspns sesame seeds 1 tspn home ground turmeric powder 1 tspn flax seeds A pinch of asafoetida 1tspn home ground dry mango powder ½ tspn of home ground garam masala 2 tspns of dhaniya powder 2 spns of salt saindhava salt, powdered at home from the rock form 8 to 10 green chillies ( slit ) Preparation : time taken one hour 1. Cut and wash aloe vera leaves. 2. Slice out the thorny sides of each leaf 3. Remove the bottom yellowish portion by slicing it away as it is slightly bitter and poisonous. 4. Now cut them into 1 or 2 inch pieces 5. Then remove the gel by peeling out the upper and lower green skin of the aloe leaf as this is not edible. 6. Now u can consume some of raw aloe gel on empty stomach as this is an excellent form of detox to ur body 😊 Method of cooking : time taken half hour 7. Further heat cold pressed coconut oil in a mud pot 8. Add all spices one by one in the order given including green chillies and red chillies any where in between but only asafoetida ( make sure u buy the original one ) in the end. ( also I forgot salt to taste ( may be 2 spns ) 9. Then add tomatoes and saute then for 2 – 3 minutes. 10. Add home ground dhaniya ( coriander ) powder now becoz it might get burnt if u add it earlier along with all spices 11. Then add the long-awaited aloe vera gel and stir it well to blend all the spices and form a gravy by cooking for 15 minutes. 12. Offer this to God and eat it happily with ur family or friends 😊 To be eaten slowly ( time taken 40 minutes 😊 )
