Construction Week welcomed some of the biggest names from the region's construction sector for its Leaders KSA Summit held on the 29 - 30 September to explore the opportunities and challenges faced for Saudi Arabia's built environment. Day two of the conference began with the Future of Construction in Saudi Arabia panel exploring how the Kingdom has changed over the past 10 years. The panellists included the head of Middle East for Reed Smith, Sachin Kerur, Mott MacDonald's managing director, Christopher Seymour, Resa Gulf Scaffolding's general manager, Ash Arshad, and HKA partner John McKevitt. Concluding the entire conference was the Rise of Design and Modular Construction which entailed Cundall's technical director for building services, Tony Owens, Katerra's head of structural design, Ayad Mohammed Al Rufaiey, and the director of the National Centre for Building and Construction Technology (NCBCT) Bandar Alkahlan.
