In this latest episode of MEP Engineered Online, the general manager of BK Gulf LLC, Basheer Massad talks to former MEP Middle East editor Tom Oxtoby about keeping its financials robust even in 2020; the firm’s delayed expansion plans; its outlook for 2021 and the way forward. Referring to 2020 as the “Year of COVID” in his reports to the firm’s shareholders, Massad says that 2020 has had a strong impact, created hope, and has also created a lot of lessons to be learnt. “During this testing year, we at BK Gulf have proved to ourselves and to our valued partners how deep and strong our roles are. The robust strategies that have been set by the senior management and the shareholders of the company resulted in sustaining and protecting the company’s position,” Massad said. “Due to our continued strategies of implementing and adhering to strict tendering processes, work winning procedures, and being very selective of the projects that we target and clients who we work with, we were fortunate to be in a position where the vast majority of our projects continued to be delivered as per planned this year.” For more details, watch the video today!
