Simran Sharma wins Bronze Medal in ParaOlympics 2024. Simran Sharma (born 9 November 1999) is a visually impaired para athlete from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. She qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris. Sharma married Naik Gajendra Singh in November 2017. Singh is also her coach. She is supported by sports NGO, Olympic Gold Quest.Sharma took part in the China Grand Prix and the World Para Grand Prix in Dubai in 2021. She became the first Indian para athlete to qualify for the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021, but she did not get any medals. She was selected for the Indian team to take part in the 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China, where she won two silver medals in the 100m and 200m T12 events. At the Asian Games, she clocked 12.68 seconds for 100m on 24 October 2023 and 26.12 seconds for 200m on 26 October 2023.
