Craig Foster's video: How To Fix Looping In The Putting Stroke

@How To Fix Looping In The Putting Stroke
Looping in a putting stroke does not necessarily mean that a player will miss putts. Billy Mayfair had a loop in his putting stroke but it was consistent, and allowed him to compete at the highest level. He claimed to be unaware of the obvious loop in his stroke. Looping can cause inconsistent results, and it something most players would prefer not to have in their stroke. The change of path in a looped stroke can be the result of having excess range of motion in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints. Gates and path outlines are popular methods used to train a player's stroke to follow a more consistent path back and through. If excess range of motion is present in the player's setup, a loop may still occur. Pressure situations are most likely to cause a relapse. One method that can minimize chances for looping is to reduce slack in the joints that allow it to happen. The DynAlign dynamic soft end range pre-shot alignment technique can reduce slack and prepare the body for more consistent repetitive motion. This allows a player to focus on alignment during a pre-shot routine, then distance control during a stroke. Inconsistent results can occur if a player has concern about the path of their putter during a stroke. To learn more about DynAlign, please visit www.dynaligngolf.com
