A while ago, I became interested in great speeches. I downloaded a bunch of them and listened. I found them to be rhythmic and lyrical. I thought they would go well to music so I took a stab at making them into songs. I'm not trying to be partisan or push an agenda with these songs. I just like well composed speeches and they come from both sides of the aisle. I find that as humans, at our core, we all really want the same thing. It is these commonalities that usually appear in the greatest speeches.
