Quad Rotor FPV Flight - Using a modified Gaui 330X-S, I take a little FPV spin around my apartment complex. I'm inside the apartment with my Futaba FASST transmitter. Since the 2.4GHz signal doesn't propagate through objects too well, I'm keeping it relatively close to home until I set up an outdoor 6-8dBi collinear control link antenna, which will be connected to the TX. Since the Quad flies low and close to buildings in this video, and objects also get somewhat between the 8dBi video patch antenna and the quad, there is often video signal attenuation (we're also flying on the fringe area of the directional patch antenna sometimes) causing static. Being this close to large objects, multipath interference also poses a problem. - For video transmission I'm running 500mW of power at 900MHz.
