Creedaz's video: Khardung Tso 5070 m - the mystery of Khardung la

Khardung la is a high altitude road pass that connects the Indus river valley with the Shyok river valley. After looking at the terrain in the Survey of India maps I saw that the road is actually contructed on a pass called 'Som la' and NOT on Khardung la (please refer to image 10/10). One can also see a red dashed line (hiking trail) which is crossing the real Khardung la (as per Survey of India maps). The trail goes through a lake with no name given in the maps. It was quite a small climb to the ridgeline from where one could see the lake. It was Monday 07th August and me along with 03 friends left for the hike in the afternoon. We parked the bikes on the roadhead and after hiking for 40 mins we were able to see the lake.
