During his childhood, Chill dropped out of high school and hooked up with the neighborhood MC Eiht forming the group.Chill has also been producing several albums which include, The Hard Way released in 2004 by the Long Beach based supergroup, 213. He took only part on the debut album of C.M.W., It's a Compton Thang as he was sentenced to prison for three years and couldn't come back since the group broke up. However he appeared on the reunion album, Represent. MC Chill is set to release his debut solo album, Chill Factor in 2008.
