Last Time on C&C: Our greenhorn heroes answered a police scanner call to a bank robbery and hostage situation. Our heroes made their way in to find sentry drones patrolling the building. Due to some careless mistakes, several hostages' lives were lost. Our heroes discovered that three hostages had explosives attached to them. Deciding instead to focus on the drones and the villain, they took action. During the drone battle the police rushed the bank and started escorting out hostages. When the heroes engaged the villain, they discovered it was a ruse, and that the real villain was hidden in with the hostages. Their inexperience allowed the villain to escape, and several hostages to die. What will they do next? This new world utilizes the 5th Edition D&D ruleset with some twists. This material is playtesting for an upcoming project Crit Academy has in the works. We take the world from fantasy heroes with swords and magic, to an ultramodern setting with blasters, robots, swords, and superpowers.
