Crooked Arrows Movie's video: Crooked Arrows Co-Producer Ernie Stevens III on the Native American Aspect of the Film

http://www.crookedarrows.com - Crooked Arrows Co-Producer Ernie Stevens III of the Oneida tribe will be coordinating the Crooked Arrows Native American community marketing, publicity and philanthropy outreach programs. Stevens says of the team, "These guys are some of the best lacrosse players I've ever seen. Not only that, but casting Iroquois players was important because we invented this game. These young men are the spokesmen for their communities, their nations, their people. Overall, this is going to be a great movie."  In preparation for the production, which will be shooting this August in the Boston area, the actors are currently undergoing a demanding lacrosse training program under the supervision of veteran sports coordinator Mark Ellis of Sports Studio (Miracle, Invincible) and three-time All- American and former Iroquois Nationals Lacrosse team star Neal Powless of the Onondaga Nation. "It's great to be a part of a movie that introduces not only lacrosse, but the beauty of the rich tradition it represents to Native people", states Powless. "This movie is meant to celebrate this great sport and its proud Native American origins," adds veteran producer film producer J. Todd Harris, who is producing the film with Mitchell Peck. "We hope that our film will not only appeal to existing lacrosse fans, but will inspire a new generation of lacrosse enthusiasts to understand the sport's history and significance".
