I decided to do a and makeuplook for the ancient Egyptian godess Isis. Isis was one of the most important godesses of ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire and far beyond. As mourner, she was believed to help the dead enter the afterlife. As magical healer, she cured the sick and brought the deceased to life. As the divine mother, she was a role model for all women and her maternal power was called upon in healing spells. Usually she is portrayed as a woman with a throne hieroglyph on her head. In the New Kingdom, Isis came to be portrayed wearing Hathor's headdress: a sun disk between the horns of a cow. She is also very often portrayed with wings. I incorporated those elements into the painted chestpiece.
