Crukih's video: Dino Crisis 2 - Dino Coliseum Side-Quest

@Dino Crisis 2 - Dino Coliseum Side-Quest
--------------------------------------------------USEFUL TIMESTAMPS-------------------------------------------------- 0:00 - Intro 00:15 - REGINA: Pretty straightforward. Find a corner and fire the heavy machinegun in short, controlled bursts to keep accuracy high. This can kill Oviraptors in one hit and velociraptors in two. Use the mine line for the Inostrancevia. Spam the heavymachinegun on the allosaurus to stop their attacks. When the Tyrannosaurus-rex, get behind him quickly and shoot him in the back of the leg until dead. He won’t be able to hit you. 3:50 - DYLAN: Very similar to Regina. Find a corner to blast away. Save the rockets for the Allosaurus. Your guns will not be as effective but you have the firewall for a last ditch defence. 6:29 - RICK: You won’t be able to hide in the corner here due to the solid canon’s short range. It has a massive hit box however. Keep moving and running around to avoid damage. The canon is strong enough to deal with all enemies, just make sure you use the mine thrower to tip the Inostrancevia on their back. When you attack the Allosaurus, keep moving to try and hit them on their sides and stun lock them. 9:55 - GAIL: be careful using the flamethrower. Remember to only tap the attack button or you will get very low points for hit ratio. The anti-tank rifle is incredibly powerful but has limited ammo. The hit box is absurdly large however. Try to wait and line up enemies so you can hit multiple ones at once. It is possible to complete only using the tank rifle and chainmail. Expend all your chainmail on the Inostrancevia to save rounds. 12:09 - TANK: You can deal damage by driving into enemies in a pinch. Although you are slow, try to drive around the outside of the arena to coax the enemies into a rape train, call of duty zombies style. Save your flash grenades to stun the Tyrannosaurus-rex so you can try to get behind him. This will probably be the toughest character to get behind him with. 15:15 - OVIRAPTOR: Ranged attacks are limited from this point out. Stay running by keeping the triangle button pressed down to avoid damage whilst doing dash attacks. You also have a pretty sweet dropkick attack to get some distance. Like with Rick, try to attack the Allosaurus’s from the side to stun them. 19:52 - VELICORAPTOR. A real velociraptor is only about the size of a large turkey. This guy is much more likely a Utahraptor, or possibly a Austroraptor. Regardless he is the hardest character by far. Most his attacks are awkward and clumsy with a long cooldown period. Even his charging attack has a tiny hit box. Do your best to utilise the charge attack but will require practice. 23:58 - INOSTRANCEVIA: Use the triangle button to do a lunge attack. The circle button will cause him to rear up on his legs. If you hit an opponent, you can use the attack twice to prolong the lunge. 27:25 - ALLOSAURUS: Find a corner and use his lengthy tail attack to swat the first three waves. Use the charging attack for the final two. 30:30 - TYRANNOSAURUS-REX: You can step on enemies that get too close. You will likely need to quick turn a lot to avoid getting swarmed. The earlier rounds will be the toughest. Spam you bite on later enemies to overwhelm them. 33:20 - TRICERATOPS: Designed for charging attacks. Run around the arena and ram enemies. His normal basic attacks can be doubled up like the Inostrancevia. 36:10 - COMPSOGNATHUS: If you spam his attack he will leap around like a bunny of death, Monty python and the holy grail style. This will lower your hit ratio however so you will need to be conservative. Try to time your attacks so they connect or to the leap away from danger. Be careful, one hit from anything will kill you. --------------------------------------------------HYPERLINKS-------------------------------------------------- Thumbnail Artwork: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/922549774192848070/DDA43F6670922107658E154C97D486E902288793/?imw=1024&imh=685&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=true Livestream Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEspWHr0j27p3Y-cMNjme1w Discord Server: https://discord.gg/b6HAZN4 --------------------------------------------------DESCRIPTION-------------------------------------------------- LIFE: Based on the amount of health left in the bar at the end of the scenario. An easy way to get an S here is to heal up to full health after killing the final enemy, the Tyrannosaurus-rex TIME LEFT: Self-explanatory. You need to finish with about 7:30 left on the clock to get an S rank. HIT RATIO: Higher score is awarded for a higher accuracy. This also counts for melee attacks made by dinosaurs. Spamming attacks will lead to a lower rank, so attack conservatively! EXTINCTION POINTS: Based on the total points achieved. This is especially important in the first two rounds. You have to be quick with your kills.
