For me however, Number 3 sits at the top. I may be biased as it is the game I grew up with and would enjoy completing it over and over again at my grandparents whilst waiting for everyone to wake up. I could never figure out the early puzzles of the first one and the second one just didn't mesh with me for some reason. It has some qualities that I feel it’s predecessors lacked. No it does not have two campaigns like the previous two. However, both campaigns were so similar (especially in resident evil 1) that I felt what it lacked in quantity, it instead spent on quality. Whereas previous boss fights would usually consist of keeping a distance and ploughing rounds into them, Nemesis will sprint after you if you distance yourself too much and chase you down from room to room. The ambient music helps to add to the idea of being stalked by an un-killable monster. Resident evil 3 feels harder than it’s predeccors. Being the masochistic, Dark souls loving freak that I am, the harder a game tends to be, the harder it gets me. For every encounter, when playing on hard, Nemesis will drop an item if you defeat him. I’ve shown the easiest way (In my opinion) to gain all 7 items with the least amount of fighting. In the first playthrough, killing nemesis for the 7th time will drop a machine-gun and unlimited ammo on subsequent playthroughs. Completing the game 8 times will unlock all Epilogues. For those interested, I have edited in all 8 Epilogues at the end from a previous save. Appreciate the time that took fuckers. Unlike previous games, there is a certain amount of randomisation that occurs. Some items will appear in different places, the type of enemies present may change, as may puzzle solutions, so those shown in the video may change. For those struggling, hopefully this will Help.
