Crumb's video: Jagex is Still Failing the Real World Trade Problem

Jagex is removing the duel arena, punishing gold buyers in a historic move, and possibly cracking down on gold selling websites. Despite these efforts, I think they're missing a majority of the problems created by RWT. Banning buyers and removing the duel arena is a good move don't get me wrong, but it does nothing to tackle the other problems created by RWT. Account security has serious flaws that are abused to steal accounts, sell the gold and then run high-level PVM bots on. Worse, if you're compromised there's no customer support from Jagex. The anti-cheating team dealing with bots & gold farmers is seriously understaffed for the mountain they're tackling. Jagex, with a nearly 50% profit margin on €110million euros in gross revenue as of 2019, can afford an adequately sized time. The same goes for customer support. Finally, there are literal dupes in the game. I think for the longevity of the game, more spending on these issues would be a huge help. This is why I say they fail because it seems they're servicing the bottom line and legal requirements instead of trying to lessen the negative impacts RWT has on the community.
