It simply requires a change in how the strategy should be written. The downsides of this setup is it takes much longer for the indicators to start working (5 minute candles for a standard RSI of 14 intervals takes 70 minutes, daily candles will take 14 days) and it doesn't look like you can use historical data to speed up this process.
