CurbexUK's video: Exploring Abandoned Gasworks - History Of Manchester

@Exploring Abandoned Gasworks - History Of Manchester
In this video I am visiting Gould Street gasworks which is a key piece in the history of Manchester. Originally built in 1824 to supply gas to the great northern city of Manchester which was just starting to enter the industrial revolution. Built on a site located very close to the city centre and angel meadows a small park within walking distance of the abandoned gasworks, I also go on to talk about the underground reservoir that may also be located on the same site, finally we end the video by taking a look at a great unique feature of this now car park it has a coat of arms in it just being slowly beaten by the weather. I hope you enjoy this video of me exploring an abandoned gas works.
