The team takes their first laps on the all-new KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition! Have a question about the bike? Drop a comment below. Read Cycle News Magazine: https://www.cyclenews.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CycleNews/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cyclenews/ Yes, we’ve seen a 250 Factory Edition before, but it’s usually been a standard 250 SX-F with half of the PowerParts catalog bolted on at the dealership. Factory Edition? Technically yes. In our eyes though, a real Factory Edition is the bike that previews the coming model year and gives buyers the latest and greatest tech, now. Remember the original Dungey Edition? That’s what we’re talking about. The Austrians outdid themselves this year with two brand new models hitting the shelves. Both bikes look strikingly different than they did just one year ago and this might be the biggest change KTM has ever made to their 250 program. In typical KTM fashion, the 250 shares much of the same equipment as its 450 big brother. The new frame, swingarm, fork, shock, and body work are all direct carry-ons from one bike to another. But if you already own a standard ‘22, you’ll be out of luck as there’s almost nothing that bolts on from the previous model year.
