DBoy's video: Super Easy Razor Burn Remedies

@Super Easy Razor Burn Remedies
I am sick of getting razor burn every time I shave. What are some effective razor burn remedies? Shaving thick, coarse hair on sensitive skin usually causes razor burn. But even if it has very uncomfortable symptoms, it can still be easily treated with home remedies. I would do almost anything to get some relief. I am having symptoms like chaffed and reddened skin, burning sensation, and skin irritation. Some of the most effective razor burn remedies are apple cider vinegar and aspirin. Really, how do I use them? A clean, dry cloth must be dampened with the apple cider vinegar and patted on the affected area. This will help relieve and heal the inflamed skin. Sounds easy enough. The aspirin, on the other hand, can be dissolved in warm water and turned into a paste. It must be applied on the affected area and rinsed with lukewarm water. How does it work? Aspirins contain anti-inflammatory properties and this paste will help alleviate any burning sensation. What else can I do? You can create a mask that is made up of strawberries and sour cream. It can also soothe skin irritation due to razor burns. Sounds delicious! How do I do it? The ingredients must be turned into a paste and placed on the skin for about ten minutes; then, it has to be rinsed with cool water. This will keep the skin fresh and hydrated. All of this sounds great for treating razor burn, but how do I prevent it from happening in the first place? A hot compress must be placed on the area you plan to shave. Then you should apply a mixture of lavender oil and hot water. This will moisten the skin; making it smoother and easier to shave. What else can I use to stop razor burn? Moisturizing oils such as jojoba and avocado may be used, as well. They also prevent skin inflammation. Bathing in warm water helps hydrate and soften the skin. So, this also makes shaving easier. What about after I shave? A homemade after-shave lotion is also good for the skin. It is one of the simplest razor home remedies. To make it, a tablespoon of dried calendula flowers and another tablespoon of dried comfrey leaves are needed. How do I make the after shave? These ingredients should be mixed with half a cup of witch hazel extract and stored for a couple of weeks. The mixture should be strained and mixed with rose water. What next? After that, lavender oil, sandalwood oil, and vegetable glycerin should be added. Finally, the complete mixture should be stored in a cool, dry place. Sounds great, anything else I should know? Whenever it is needed, it should be shaken well. Also, soap must never be used as an alternative for a shaving cream. It will only dry the skin faster and make it more susceptible to skin irritation and razor burn.
