The Pride of Our Nation: 1Malaysia Tamil Film For the first ever time, 1Malaysia Tamil Film project is an initiative by 1Malaysia Entertainment, produced by Star Spot in association with ATV Pictures Sdn Bhd. Being in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia, supported by various branches of the government such as the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage while sponsored by Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and Celcom, it is said that the film will be a large-scale production. Whereby, Maraz's D' Cinema Silver Screen Magazine will be the official magazine for 1Malaysia Tamil Film. The team is proud to present the most anticipated Malaysian Tamil movie blockbuster of the year, '*12:06AM*'. '*12:06AM*' is the first of three vernacular language movies commissioned by 1Malaysia Media Entertainment, through the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Malaysia and the Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture. This 1Malaysia film initiates a Malay, Chinese and Tamil movie that will be produced solely by local Malaysian talents. It is the aspiration of the Hon.PM of Malaysia and the government under 1Malaysia ambit to encourage and promote the Malaysian creativity and entertainment industry, which contributes a timely answer to the calls made by various quarters to support the industry. In recognizing these talents available locally, 1Malaysia entertainment will propel into various programs such as movie, dramas and other musicals, aimed at promoting local talents. This 1Malaysia Tamil film directed by award-winning Malaysian film director, K. Annan Joseph, who is best known for his works such as the 'Ops Kossa Dappa' series and 'I Know What You Did Last Deepavali the Movie', is expected to be the blockbuster for the year 2012. Described as a suspense thriller, '*12:06AM*' stars local talents and will be shot exclusively around the country in an additional bid to boost tourism. The movie is sponsored by Malaysian Airlines and Celcom and is slated to hit cinemas nationwide on Deepavali in October this year. The movie will also be distributed in key markets around the world.
