Ravi Guria and Abner Manzar from DEF travelled by road to three underdeveloped and most affected states of India—Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. In each state they visited 4-5 villages, which have witnessed substantial number of migrant labourers forced to return due to the crisis. They interviewed close to sixty migrant labourers collectively in three states—in their natural habitat, while observing and recording their experiences and gathering vital insights. This film is an outcome of the study.
