Jazz Age: During 1920, the life of Fitzgerald was very influencing. He described that period as Jazz Age. He visited so many places of Europe during this period and he made so many friends. His wife tried to divert his mind from writing novel. She wanted him to write short stories by which he could earn money and had the better life. He started to love her a lot. Daisy got married with a rich men. Then Gatsby became rich. In the novel, it is shown that his life is full of comforts and mysteries. Nick Carraway Nick is the narrator of the novel. He comes to Newyork for learning the bond business. He is the cousin of Daisy Buchanan. He shows the greatness of the Gatsby in the novel. Daisy Buchanan She is the wife of Tom Buchanan. She is the cousin of Nick. She promised Gatsby that she will wait for him till the first World War finishes. But she goes back and marries to a rich men named Tom Buchanan. Tom Buchanan Tom was a football player. Now he is a successful businessmen. He is a very cruel person. Though he is having affair with other women,he blames on Daisy for having affair with Gatsby. Jordan Baker Jordan is a cruel women. She is a golfer by profession. She cheated to win a golf tournament. Nick introduces her in the novel when he meets her in the home of Daisy. Myrtle Wilson She is the wife of George Wilson. She wants to make her life better. She is having affair with Tom Buchanan. She is very jealous of Daisy. She dies in an accident, with the car of Gatsby. George B Wilson George runs a garage. He loves his wife Myrtle a lot. He is very worried about the relationship of Tom and Myrtle. When her wife met with an accident, he kills Gatsby the car owner. Then he commits suicide. Hanry Getz He is the father of Gatsby .
