Built on 108 acres this Memorial park constructed in the memory of father of the Indian Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar, was opened for public on 14 April 2008. Some Hindi movies were also shot here namely Youngistaan , Dawat e Ishq, Bareilly Ki Barfi etc. It was the brain child of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Behen Km Mayawati . Built from Red sandstone tiles that were fetched from the Rajasthan state, took almost 12-13 years to complete this mega project.
