DIY Skoolie's video: Conversion Video 49: Adjustable Bed Lift

@Conversion Video 49: Adjustable Bed Lift
After looking at other options for a bed lift, and being unsatisfied with my choices of kits to purchase, I decided to make my own. This saved me about $400! I want to be able to put gear, bikes, or a motorcycle under my bed. For maximum flexibility, I wanted it to move completely out of the way, rather than just tip up to reveal storage. The bed floats on cables. The cables can be cranked in, which causes the bed to ride up them. The cable crank has a braking mechanism, so it locks in any position automatically.
