Glass bottles from wine, whiskey, beverage, water bottles or jars. Bottles in round or square shape. There are many videos showing how to cut a glass bottle with a string and fire. I have to say that I have tried it many times and the result was really bad. Do not try it, it's a waste of time and maybe money. After many tests, I have come to the conclusion that the best way to cut a bottle in half is to invest in a glass bottle cutter tool, for not much money. As you can see on the video the black one is to cut both, square and round glass bottles. Decide where you want to cut the bottle, and accordingly adjust your cutter. Very useful tip is to add a little bit of WD40 oil to the diamond cutters for smooth and easy cutting. The second tool is only for round glass bottles and in case you need to cut smaller diameters for example the bottle neck. After this procedure you will need very hot and cold water. Before you start ringing with water make sure that the bottle does not have a cap on. If it does, pressure may develop inside the bottle and the cutting may end not being straight. And remember always, safety first. Wear gloves and goggles to avoid any injures In this way you can cut any glass bottle and turn your ideas into a lovely decoration crafts like a lantern, a water glass, a vase, a flower pot, or a tealight holder the choice is yours!
