Acid batteries, instead of changing them, it’s a simple enough process! First, we cook some salt and refill the cylinders. All you need is distilled water, Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate ) and a battery charger. Important note; Only Epsom salt is appropriate, DO NOT USE any other type salt. Epsom salt usually is used for baths But if it is dissolved in distilled water, it can be used as a refill liquid for acid batteries. Try to refill the cylinders to 50% - 60% using a solution of magnesium sulphate. Give it a good shake and then charge it for 24 hours. Now you have a refurbished battery. Recondition your old weak battery using this easy method. Remember health and safety first as this can be dangerous. Use gloves and goggles!
