DKMS's video: DKMS National Cancer Survivor Day

In summer of 2008, Karen Stock had a healthy diet, exercised almost every day, but she had a little rash that wouldn't go away. After a visit to her physician, Karen learned that she had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She immediately started treatment and received over 600 hours of chemotherapy, but that wasn’t enough. Karen needed to find a matching bone marrow donor to beat her lymphoma. Fortunately, she received a bone marrow transplant in 2009, a year after her diagnosis. Because she received a transplant, Karen gets to make more moments with her husband and two lovely kids. Karen explained, "There are no words to say thank you to someone who as saved your life."
