When using Zymox ear flush and ear cleanser you do not need to clean out the wax covered yeast and bacteria, you can simply leave it in the ear. But since I like to leave the ears clean and I had Dantes owner there to help me, I went ahead and cleaned out the ears with the Zymox flush then I used the Zymox ear solution after that to leave in. To treat an ear infection you must apply the Zymox ear solution into the ears once a day for 3-5 days. If the ears are not better after 5 days please go see your local veterinarian.
