Here we jump in the studio to explore hearing a couple high-end shotgun mics. Each has their own unique characteristics and price point. The Schoeps is remarkably smooth and most natural. The Audix sounds amazingly good for the price. The Sanken would win the "Reach" contest and still sounds close to the best. What do your ears say?
