@Watch live: Ukrainian FM Kuleba press conference after meeting with NATO ministerial counterparts
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba holds a press conference in Brussels following his participation in the NATO ministerial meeting. Kuleba urged NATO to provide more weapons, including planes, heavy air defence systems, missiles and armoured vehicles. Kuleba spoke ahead of the meeting of the alliances's foreign ministers in Brussels. He said it would be hypocritical for countries to make a distinction between offensive and definsive weapons as everything would be used in the defence of Ukraine. He told the media he had three items on his agenda: weapons, weapons and weapons. A meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs continues for the second day on Thursday. The meeting is in person and is chaired by the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg. Foreign Ministers are to address Russia's invasion of Ukraine. NATO says allies are stepping up their support for Ukraine’s right to defend itself, including with anti-tank weapons, air-defence systems and other equipment, as well as increased humanitarian assistance and financial aid.
