DXC Technology's video: DXC Team Demo for MTA Hackathon

While participating in the Metro-North MTA Virtual Hackathon, the team used the algorithmic mechanism design to build Smart Queue. The Smart Queue monitors the complex transit network and offers each rider real-time rewards for keeping a safe social distance. The application estimates the social responsibility of each trip option, assigns points, and shows you the results. The Smart Queue will gently nudge users to choose the most responsible choices. The better the choices, the more reward points earned. Users can check on the rewards earned at any time. The Smart Queue also notifies users of upcoming reservations or when entering an overcrowded zone. The app uses the Flutter framework to run natively on Android and iOS. It communicates with the Smart Queue, which is Python code running in Azure. The data pipeline pulls real-time information from the MTA and updates our Azure Database, which feeds the Smart Queue.
