One of the reasons why trading is so difficult is.. you need to understand how to be both aggressive and defensive at the same time. Being aggressive means understanding when your entry criteria are met.. to pull the trigger without hesitation and put on your risk. Being defensive means.. always understanding the downside and how much risk you have on the table. You have to constantly be in a state of balance with the two.. never too aggressive (aka not following your own rules).. and never too defensive (aka being scared to put on more risk when the time is right).. Develop this sense of being in harmony between yin and yang, offense and defense.. and you might find yourself getting profitable.
