Most funded challenges have drawdown limits ranging 5-10%, I recommend risking no more than 0.5% per trade so you have ample chances for your edge to play out. 2. Make sure understand ALL the rules on any given challenge. Every assessment is slightly different depending on the firm you’re with. Breaching a challenge because you “didn’t know” about a rule is on YOU, not the firm. 3. Stop trading after 2-3 losses in a day. Maintaining your psychology is extremely important when it comes to trading, even more so with funded challenges because you have less room for error. Most traders blow their challenge in a single day. Allow yourself to stop and come back with a fresh mindset to the charts.. live to fight another day and prevent tilt.
