Pat Boone's cover on Dot Records would be a hit on the pop charts in 1956. Ivory Joe's best pop chart showing would come during 1956-57 with another self-penned classic, "Since I Met You Baby" on Atlantic Records, which climbed as high as on the pop charts while spending three weeks atop the R & B listings.
