Italian ossuary | Italijanska kostnica * DTTV The Italian ossuary above Kobarid is a monument to Italian soldiers who were killed during the First World War in the vicinity of Kobarid, Bovec, Tolmin and Rombona. It was built in 1938. The ossuary is shaped as an octagon in which there are niches with names, surnames and the military stages of fallen soldiers in two concentric circles.In the middle of the third circle stands the church of St. Antona.
