Daniel Bryn's video: How To Manage Your Expectations In STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

Sometimes our expectations are not always in line with what is actually out there when we start our sessions. In this POV session for example, I had the previous session from the same spots fresh in mind, which was a great session and I got loads of nice photos from many of the stops on line 5 of the oslo metro. This day was however very different! I wanted to shoot POV style and, film for this video and get great images to show for. The conditions werent the same which was frustrating at first. I thought to myself, we have to work with what we have, and try to find interestingness with the current conditions. And thats a great mindset to have when we do our streetphotography. Find random interesting moments under the current conditions, use them to your advantage - Every spot looks different when the light change, at different times of day, in rush hour etc, so go out with an open mind. And be switched on, really look for new subjects to photograph, or see old things in new light, literally. I think this is a great approach and mindset to improve our streetphotography!
