Sorry to spam all your subscription feeds. This is gonna start it all off and I must say I was so surprised with the . I mean, seriously, I had my money on the to be , but came out of nowhere for me. My friend said to me, "I told you people like that song!" What a dark horse and a nice change to these videos. This is also the first time I implemented the allowance of voting of multiple songs by the same artist. That, I feel, resulted in an even more of a sausage fest in this video. Jesus! DO NOT READ MY RANTS BELOW IF YOU ARE AN EASILY BUTTHURT OR OVERSENSITIVE FAN WHO DOESN'T LIKE IT WHEN PEOPLE TALK SHIT ABOUT THEIR PRECIOUS OPPAS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED... Ok, first of all, each year in K-Pop is getting worse and worse, in my opinion. 2009-12 was such a great era and then it all started going down hill in 2013. And, my god, this year, I literally have been disappointed with almost every major comeback. I think K-Pop is in this experimental phase in their music, but to me, it feels very disjointed. Enough of the "sick" beats and constant changing of flow in a song. Just stop it, damn it! A lot of it is grinding on my ears. Am I getting too old for this? Is that the problem?! Is this a new thing that the kids are into?! Artists & Songs Include: (Alphabetically) 4Minute / 포미닛 - Crazy / 미쳐 - If I went strictly by best piece of a song. Gayoon's part (the pre-chorus) is hands down one of the best things this year. I fucking loved it! It needs to be in a song of its own, because all that build up is ruined with that chorus. Ugh. Song literally shat on by it. BIGBANG / 빅뱅 - Bang Bang Bang / 뱅뱅뱅 - And I thought 4Minute was bad, but here we have such amazing climaxes and verses. And when I get to Seungri's part, I get chills, but that's quickly taken away with that out-of-place and godawful chorus. I'm sorry, but dropping a "sick" beat with a nasally backtrack does not make you a musical genius. That chorus literally ruins what would've been an amazing song. BIGBANG - Loser - And continuing my BIGBANG rant, I'm really bothered at the fact that with K-Pop in general, popular artists will always get because of their fanbase. They can put out the "ABC's" and it'll be . No Joke! Popularity doesn't always equal quality. I guarantee you that BIGBANG's songs would not have been popular if they didn't have the BIGBANG/YG name attached to them. I love BIGBANG, but these first 6 songs do not hold a candle to what they put out years ago. There, I said it.... BTS / Bangtan Boys / 방탄소년단 - Dope / 쩔어 - If I redid the Top 10 Best Male Choreo video, this would've easily been . Wow. Just wow. BTS - I Need U - These guys have literally risen in my eyes this year. I'm starting to really like them. Need I re-mention how disappointed I've been with K-Pop this year with the more veteran artists? EXID / 이엑스아이디 - Ah Yeah - Another disjointed song. That is all. EXO / 엑소 - Call Me Baby - I really regret not voting for "Love Me Right", because I was forced to edit this stupid song. "Love Me Right" was great. It had a nice funky and catchy sound that I've been wanting for the first 5 months of 2015. This song, however, only makes me roll my eyes. For starters, I don't like their choreo move for the words "Call Me Baby". Like really? No. Just no. Plain and simple, I didn't care for this song. Red Velvet / 레드벨벳 - Ice Cream Cake - Creepy girl, horror movie chants make me laugh. I can't take this song seriously, haha. Especially if the song is called "Ice Cream Cake" hahaha SHINee - View - All you know I do love me some SHINee, but I just couldn't get into this. I really wanted to, but I found this to be really flat and forgettable. A song that I don't think will be remembered in the long run. And do I need to mention those atrocious clothes? *Shaking my damn head* XIA Junsu / 준수 - Flower / 꽃 - Solid song. One of the ones that made me happy it landed in the Top 10. A first for this guy as a soloist too. Such a haunting song with a powerful delivery. Ok, if you read all that. Sorry if I offended you.
