I'd like to say that I'm so happy the girls triumphed in this video, because while I was editing, some of these boy groups seriously made roll my eyes or gag at their lyrics. Congrats to them. Ailee - Heaven - I'm glad this placed where it did. I like the lyrics to this song. B1A4 - Beautiful Target - You know, for weird English, the Korean lyrics are pretty decent. It took me a while to find a decent translation for C.NU's last line in the chorus. I even saw, "My hot love. Oh baby, take me." Um, what? EXO-K - What is Love - Had to use the MV, because there was a shortage of lives for this song. K.Will - I Need You / 니가 필요해 - So glad this made it. Loved the lyrics and song. A huge hit in Korea last year. SHINee - Juliette - As much as I love SHINee, I found the lyrics to be quite bizarre. "Playful fox"? They were kind of a turnoff. Shame, because I like this song. SISTAR - Loving U - A surprisingly great, catchy song with a nice message at the end. SNSD / Girls' Generation - Gee - This song is catchy. I'll give it that, but the chorus lyrics seem to lack substance. Super Junior - It's You - One of the best Super Junior songs. My personal favorite by them. TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki - Hug - Like I said with SHINee, as much as I love these guys, this song's lyrics had me gagging. They're borderline creepy, too. Their JPop ones are so much better.
