I've been pretty consistent if you guys haven't noticed; all my videos have been 3 days apart. I went all out on the last two videos, but I'm disappointed in the performance of my Retro video. It was one I was really proud of but not as many seemed as interested in wanting to watch it. It was fun, educational and humorous! Sigh. So with that, I just churned out a normal video this time, but still kept the well-received Honorable Mentions. Some of these songs in the Top 10 are hit-and-miss for me, but I do feel they are deserving of being featured in this vid if that makes sense. Enjoy! Thank you all for watching! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Some of these songs are just not my style. I can understand their popularity but some just don't appeal to me. Artists & Songs Include: (Alphabetically) 2PM / 투피엠 - Go Crazy / 미친거 아니야? - I definitely prefer this one over "Hands Up". I never cared for Hands Up honestly. I felt that the choreo was lazy and the chorus did not carry what I was looking for in a song like that. But I can understand its popularity though. 2PM - Hands Up BEAST / B2ST / 비스트 - Beautiful Night / 아름다운 밤이야 - Oh man, I never liked this song. I absolutely hate it. And it's mostly because of the vocal delivery. Particularly with Kikwang and Hyunseung. Their voices really irritate me, and following up with this song after the perfect "Fiction", I really was thrown for a loop. I felt that they tried way too hard. But that could just be me. BIGBANG - Bang Bang Bang / 뱅뱅뱅 - You guys already know how I feel about this song after I ranted about it in the 2015 1st Half vid. Such a travesty with this one. What would've been an amazing song was ruined by that awful chorus. Funny thing though, I showed the MV to my non-K-Pop friend the other day, who liked Fantastic Baby, and when the chorus started, she immediately reacted, "Nope." Hahaha. She thought the song was weird and awful. Big Bang - Fantastic Baby - Now this is a classic song. Still one of my go-to songs when I go to norebang/karaoke. Pure gold. Block B / 블락비 - Very Good - The song lives up to its title. Although, I was disappointed that Block B didn't do as well in this countdown. I felt like this was their area of expertise. MBLAQ / 엠블랙 - Smoky Girl / 스모키 걸 - Yep. Another good one. The last MBLAQ promo I liked though. Seems so long ago now. SHINee / 샤이니 - Everybody - As much as I like SHINee, this is probably one of my least favorite promo songs by them. I felt that it was too electronic for them and I hated the choreo. I still downloaded it though, haha. Currently have 72 listens on it, but that's pretty low for a now 2.5-year-old song. But I guess it hasn't stood the test of time for me. Teen Top / 틴탑 - Rocking / 장난아냐 - So far the only Teen Top song I ever downloaded. Loved this one. The choreo really was an eye-opener for me. Made me go, "Damn, look at 'em go!" U-KISS / 유키스 - Neverland / 네버랜드 - Interestingly, I really liked this song back in the day, but I never enjoyed singing it at norebang. That chorus is just too much / annoying to sing (more like replicate), haha. I have since liked other U-KISS songs more than this one, so it has taken the back burner for me. Oh, and seeing this makes me miss Dongho. He always had such an interesting charm and charisma that my eyes were more drawn to him before I even knew U-KISS. He made me laugh for some reason. Honorable Mentions: I'm sure by now, you guys read what I wrote above and thought, "Man, he sure is critical." And then I'll reveal that I love these 3 songs here and some will think, "Uh, they're not popular. What's wrong with you?" Well, I like them. They have a charm and jam-factor that appeals to me.
