Dave & Darlene Duprey's video: Women of a Certain Age

What happens when an abandoned, three-week old baby lands in the laps of four women in their sixties? That’s the question posed by playwright Steve Duprey in his new play WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, being produced by the Geneva Theatre Guild.The play stars several of the women who inspired the play when they complained to Duprey that there were no good roles for older women. He took on the challenge and wrote the play over a two-month period this Spring. Appearing in the play are Phelps residents Joanne Saracino and Cindy Duprey, Deb Hodgeman of Clifton Springs, Mary Cook of Waterloo and Keifer Schenck of Rochester. Krista Serrett is the understudy for all four roles. Duprey directs the play with Iuliu Balibanu serving as stage manager and Eleanor Stearns producing.
