Dave Jeffery's video: MOCK Lionel opens Associated-Rediffusion

@[MOCK] Lionel opens Associated-Rediffusion
I created the Associated-Rediffusion clock "Mitch" in Blender, but had no video to hand to go with it, so I decided I'd create a quick late 1950s Associated-Rediffusion startup routine to show it off. In order to do this, I first decided I'd recreate the start-up music in Rosegarden - the music is called "The Associated Rediffusion March" and was composed by Stanley Bate, who you can look up on Wikipedia. I did a very sparse and scrappy arrangement of this for two cellos, a harp, a flute, a piccolo and some percussion. I didn't have the Associated-Rediffusion idents in Synfig Studio, so I took the opportunity to create Synfig Studio versions of those. Obviously I had to include Lionel - his television career now stretches back into the 1950s. The interesting thing here was to try and get the vidicon softness of the camera used in the presentation studio of Associated-Rediffusion in Kingsway. The film effect on the Associated-Rediffusion ident was created using the techniques described here: http://kecskebak.blogspot.hu/2011/07/cheap-dirty-film.html http://kecskebak.blogspot.hu/2012/01/weave-all-wobbles.html http://kecskebak.blogspot.hu/2012/01/synfig-studio-gate-weave.html
