Lake Fork is usually as good as it gets, but not this time. The conditions were tough. Super low water and below freezing air temperatures has made the fishing incredibly difficult. Thankfully, I found a good spot no one else did and was able to squeak out enough scorable bass to finish Stage Two in 15th place. I caught a two pounder and a six pounder on my last couple casts of the day, too bad the third and final period was cancelled by MLF officials, God only knows what would have happened with another 2.5 hours to fish.
