Simple external HUD for rFactor 1 using a sheet of metal bent in L shape, velcro, a plastic phone cover and an Android Mobile Phone. It's very easy to implement and a cheap alternative (if you don't count the phone) for having an enhanced experience in your simracing. I know the video quality wasn't great, but from my point o view, it worked fine. I recorded this with an iPod and it was very tricky to place it right to see everything. There are other videos that really show the app (and it's free; try it for yourself and delete if you dislike it).
