A panel presentation on students experiencing homelessness on Sunday April 23rd 1st Congregational Church, Eugene, Oregon. The panelists are: • Deborah Dailey, the McKinney-Vento Homeless Student Liaison for Eugene 4J School District • Becca Larsen, the McKinney-Vento Unaccompanied Youth Advocate, also for Eugene 4J • Jenny Vondracek, 1st Grade Teacher at Edison Elementary School in Eugene • William Wise, the Director of Saint Vincent de Paul's 1st Place Family Center in Eugene. William is a follower, friend and student of Dr. Donna Beegle who grew up in generational poverty and teaches that a key ingredient to rising above poverty is to have someone who truly cares. He takes the approach that everyone does the best they can all the time based on their belief system.
