David Savery Electrical Services's video: Selectivity and Demand

@Selectivity and Demand
OSCAR WINNING ACTING AND CUTTING-EDGE SPECIAL EFFECTS… are all curiously missing during this latest instalment which boldly goes where other electrical channels dare not beam down as we explore a Vulcaaan builder’s mess, a Ferengi electrician’s unsuitable sign-off, and the sad demise of our well known friend Ensign Spunkgargler who, sadly, died doing his duty as he pulled the cover off a budget brand consumer unit while failing to observe safe isolation – the clot! More detail on the out-of-this-world shenanigans involved in making this video can be found in a BONUS FEATURETTE at www.dses.uk/onlyfans for anyone desperate to know more… and, ask yourself, why would you be? Nonetheless, it’s yet another way to waste ten more minutes of your life, so go point your pointer in that direction, it don't cost nuffin'. A loss of audio - the mic jack wasn't pushed fully home - meant some scenes were binned, but to give you the bigger picture and (hopefully) save myself from answering repeat questions in the comments: The Class 1 exterior lighting we found not earthed and, unable to find the break, we ended up having to replace them all with Class 2 units. The granny charger socket was indeed installed inside the storeroom just inside the door for easier access. Gas bonding on the paperwork was listed as N/A. While correct at the rental building, at the main house it was wholly absent and shouldn’t have been. We had to run in a new bond when we upgraded the main house CU. Water bonding on the cert was ticked, however the incoming service and internal piping was plastic with no bonding cable present or needed. The Ze on the paperwork should have shown the Ze at the source of the installation, instead the author has it at 0.58 Ohm which is more than a TNCS should be rated at. We had Ze at 0.31 Ohm at the source, and 0.62 Ohm at the rental building. The C40 MCB was tricky to fit because of the rigid line/neutral connections in that CHINT board. The garage was rewired, largely using much the same materials to save waste. The shower was replaced with an 8.5kW model. There have been no further nuisance tripping events for the tenants in the rental building. Warning: Watching this may aggravate your Klingons! My thanks to Carol and Ian for letting us run around their property to "film their really shit electrics" as Carol put it, and to Marcus who is a thoroughly good sport. No thanks to Nige who is, and always will be, an asshole.
