@Bihari Superstar NITU CHANDRA Feeds Me INDIAN STREET FOOD - Los Angeles, California!!

Come with me as Bollywood legend Nitu Chandra feeds me Indian street food in Los Angeles, California! Nitu Chandra is an actress, producer, and theater artist who has appeared in over two dozen films in her home country of India, and now she’s making her American film debut in Never Back Down: Revolt, an awesome, action-packed martial arts movie that’s available digitally and on DVD right now! She did her own action in it! 👕 DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH: https://teespring.com/stores/davids-been-here We’d be dining at Roots Indian Bistro. There, we met Deep and Paramjit and headed into the kitchen, where they prepared us some chicken tikka, vegan garlic naan, vegan malai kofta, chole, paneer tikka masala fries, and more. Nitu said being in the kitchen reminded her of cooking with her family! We started with the paneer tikka masala fries, which were topped with onions, cilantro, and more. They were creamy, crispy, and rich. I loved them! Next was the chole bhature, which is a humble breakfast item in northern India. We also had the malai kofta and lamb vindaloo. First, you break the bhature. Then, we had it with the malai kofta. It was unreal! It was full of flavor even though it was vegan! Nitu even fed me some! The, we tried the lamb vindaloo, which had a light gravy and some delicious green chilies in it. I loved how spicy it was. It paired well great with the bhature. As we ate, Nitu praised me eating with my hands and told me that her grandmother would say that eating with your hands is special because they’re yours and no one else’s. Our next dish was the samosa chaat, and as we ate, we talked about Nitu’s new movie and some things we’re grateful for. It was so refreshing and tasty, with some spiciness from the green chilies, nuttiness from the chickpeas, and the creamy dahi. Then, Nitu taught me some phrases in Hindi! Next were tandoori chicken wings with green chilies. Eating the chilies with the juicy chicken took it to the next level! Then Nitu tricked me into eating some of the green chilies, but they were so good! I loved the gravy that came with them! Then, we tried the chicken tikka with some lemon, onion, and mint chutney. Deep brought us some more green chilies. The onions helped cool down my mouth! We followed that with some chole and garlic naan. It had a different taste because they included cinnamon and cardamom! After that was the bhel puri. I loved the puffed rice, onions, potatoes, and cilantro in it. Adding the mint chutney and more green chilies was really nice. I cooled down with some mango lassi and then we jumped on the sev puri, which were crispy, refreshing, and sweet. Then, I took some more malai kofta and naan. The gravy was so good, I couldn’t resist! Finally, it was time for dessert: gulab jamun and kheer, as well as mukhwas, which are mouth fresheners. The kheer was like a creamy rice pudding. I loved the coldness. Meanwhile, the gulab jamun was very decadent and super sweet and syrupy. It’s the ultimate sweet! Where have you been?
