Learn about the new features in DayTwo's v2.1 app -Ability to save a For You meals to favorites The ‘For You’ section is the personalized section for our users to browse through a wide variety of meals that yield scores 7 and up. We wanted to enable our users to add these meals to favorites for later usage. -Excluded items - Error Handling As part of our DB we have many items that have become irrelevant over time, or have been found to have a duplicate and therefore excluded. The legacy app did not deal well with excluded items (app would crash, or weird behaviour as part of logging flow would occur). To ensure this doesn’t happen in the new app, we handle this edge case across all potential scenarios. -Excluded items don’t return in Search If a user already logged a meal with an item that has since been excluded, they can still view that meal, but can’t edit it. If a user has saved a favorite meal using an item which has since been excluded, they can view it, but if they’d like to edit it they will have to first replace/remove the excluded item. -Animations across app Leftovers from the initial MVP scope, we’ve added delightful new animations across the Build Food Form (upon actions on the meal) and in the Diary tab. -Main Bugs fixed Unable to scan barcode PPE delivery kit info popup doesn’t open No indication when we fail to fetch the tutorial video No indication that a new favorite meal has successfully been creating No indication that a meal has been added to favorites -Known issues A ‘For You’ meal won’t show an indication that it is saved to favorites if it is - this will be fixed in the upcoming version. If the app is in the background overnight, the correct date will only show after users re-launch it (until then it will show yesterdays date) - fixed in upcoming version.
