This video is also very much to all TBI, ABI & PCS (and those who suffer with related conditions) very much too. Our worldwide community is woefully fragmented and adrift from each other. There may be a worldwide total of 60,000 on the private Facebook self help groups. My jaw hit the floor the other day when research taught me that between 60 to 64 million people EVERY year suffer with Traumatic Brain Injury alone. I felt so, dreadfully, dangerously alone after I temporarily died as the result of an assault. But I amazingly survived (my heart started back up on it's own) and I entered a community I barely knew a thing about. Discovering the support groups showed me that although I felt so very alone - that I never was. I should add that in real life I have a strong support network. But when people don't understand what you're going through, and can't relate even a little? That's what makes you feel so alone. I want to connect, unite and help our worldwide community as much as I can... But I can't do it alone. We must all do our bit. Much love, James xxx
