Side Note: This song was wrote about a kid who had no previous interest in playing musical instruments, heard a previous version of "Outside", recorded with Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) for "Family Values", a compilation album, on the radio, went out and bought himself a guitar, learned how to play the song (On guitar and vocals), recorded himself covering the song, put it on cd, turned his boombox on repeat, and preceded to hang himself. The lyrics of this song cover when Aaron Lewis met this child's mother outside* (*No pun is intended, as I would want to show full respect to the deceased) a show before the album was put out.
